Who is eligible to use the app:

<li>EU, European Economic Area (EEA), and Swiss citizens</li>
<li>British national (overseas) visa (BNO) applicants who possess a BNO or Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport</li>
<li>Graduate visa applicants who hold a UK biometric residence permit (BRP)</li>
</ul>

Prior to utilizing the app:
<ul>
<li>It is important to follow the steps outlined in the online application form before using the app.</li>
<li>Ensure that you are in a well-lit area to capture a photograph of yourself with optimal quality.</li>
<li>You will require one of the following documents:</li>
<ul>
<li>A biometric residence permit (BRP) - mandatory for non-EU, EEA, or Swiss citizens applying for a graduate visa</li>
<li>A passport with a chip, also known as a 'biometric passport'</li>
</ul>

How does it work?
<ol>
<li>Capture an image of your document.</li>
<li>Utilize your phone to read the chip embedded in your document.</li>
<li>Scan your face using your phone.</li>
<li>Provide a digital photograph of yourself for your application.</li>
</ol>

What happens next?
The app's sole purpose is to confirm your identity. You are still required to complete the remaining sections of your application. Detailed instructions will be provided upon completion of utilizing the app.

The app and your phone do not store any personal information once you have finished using it. It is a safe and secure platform.
